She said what?

This was Clinton yesterday, explaining why she was still in the race. What was she thinking? Many, including their brother Ted, have drawn comparisons between Obama and John and Robert Kennedy, two inspirational and transformational candidates in their time, both assassinated.
At best, she was simply pointing out that Democratic primaries often extend into June, but why drop the "A-bomb" to make this simple point? Is it conceivable that she was making some kind of argument about how she was less likely to be assassinated, and therefore would be be better candidate? Did we just catch a brief glimpse into a darkly cynical political mind?

It's nuts, no? I mean I think I understand the emotional arc of it here from looking at her, and it all spells out sour grapes. At the beginning of the campaign, she had an attitude of "the nomination is mine for the taking, for i am a senator from New Yahk, and the wife of beloved former president Bill Clinton. Clearly I'm the favorite, so just get this nonsense over and vote for me". Then the voting started and it turned out to be an actual race. Her campaign advisors, from what i understand, planned her campaign as if each state were a winner take all kind've thing (one of them quoted her chief campaign advisor as talking like that in private strategy sessions), and so she won really large states by enough of a margin, while losing the overall numbers game. Then at some point i think she realized she was losing and started getting childish. "WTF. IT WAS MINE. I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PRESIDENT. MINE MINE MINE.". Now she's crying sexism and misogyny as the reasons she's losing. As a white woman obama supporter, i find this incredibly ironic. I'm supposed to be the voting block who loves hillary, and i think she's been an irritating twat, and i'm supporting obama because i actually do like him better. Sexism, hillary? Nono. He's just better on the numbers.
I have to admit, I've been saying that Obama is the next President of the US - assuming he doesn't get assassinated before he is in office.
There are a lot of psychos out there who don't want a black man in the most powerful job on earth. Even if he's only 1/2 black.
But for another candidate to point this out is just unbelievable. It's more reason why Clinton should NOT be president. Has nothing to do with the fact shes a woman, just who the particular woman is.
