Alternative to GoDaddy

NoDaddy is an interesting, not to mention scary website. It is highly critical of GoDaddy, the world’s largest domain registrar, and their willingness to shut down people’s websites for dubious reasons (such as copyright and privacy complains that have questionable legal standing).

I’m particularly concerned because I use GoDaddy to register most of my domains (they are very cheap), I’ve even moved domains to GoDaddy from other registrars.

I’d like to find an alternative to GoDaddy, ideally it would have the following features:

  • Decent commitment not to shut down your website for bogus reasons
  • No more than a few dollars more expensive than GoDaddy
  • Decent user interface
  • Stable enough that it is likely to be around 2, 5, or 10 years from now

Anyone got any suggestions?

Update (3/12): Thanks to Octal for suggesting Tucows, although it looks more like a reseller ($95 sign-up fee) than a domain registrar for end users. I also found Joker myself. Anyone got any more suggestions?
